Our engineering team won’t rest until your material handling dilemma is solved.  This forward-thinking crew is ready to share more than 75 combined years of expertise in mechanical, manufacturing, electrical and fluid power engineering.

RICO engineers know what you care about most in specialty equipment: safety, reliability and high performance. We utilize the very best tools, techniques and training to deliver exactly what you need – and more.

Mechanical Design and Solid Modeling

RICO engineering uses the most advanced tools available to rapidly develop solutions for our customers. We leverage 3D solid modeling, motion simulation and other design validation software to create functional designs capable of being manufactured.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Simulation FEA-1 Our team uses powerful structural simulation tools to solve tough design challenges and optimize existing designs. We have the capabilities to quickly analyze static structural loading, linear stress, dynamic loading, vibration, frequency, thermal and fatigue.

Codes and Standards

Numerous codes and standards govern safety requirements for industrial trucks and material handling equipment. RICO engineers believe knowledge of these standards is essential to building the safest and most reliable equipment. That’s why every RICO engineer, designer and quality assurance technician is thoroughly trained in and intimately familiar with these standards.

We even voluntarily conform to non-government mandated standards when we believe this will produce a safer product for our customer. Here are some of the standards RICO adheres to where applicable. (This is not a comprehensive list.)
