Vehicle Rebuild Program

A complete rebuild program is offered for all RICO specialty vehicle product lines. Our rebuild program will identify components and weldments that have less than 50% life expectancy, replace obsolete parts, and rebuild parts that are readily available.

Electrical Evaluation

The following electrical items will be replaced under this program:

  • Controller, switches, brushes, push buttons, hour meters, key switch, and contactor tips/pendants
  • All primary & secondary wiring, resistors, diodes, and suppressors
  • Rebuild components (only on parts readily available)
  • Replace components (when parts not readily available)

Hydraulic Evaluation

The following hydraulic items will be replaced under this program:

  • Relief valves, flow controls, check valves, pumps, filters, tank screens, and pressure gauges
  • Hoses, worn fittings, oils, and a complete system cleaning and test
  • Rebuild components (only on parts readily available)
  • Replace components (when parts not readily available)

Drive System Evaluation

The following drive system items will be replaced under this program:

  • Brake stators, rotor pad, brake hub, friction plates, mechanical springs, and pressure plates
  • Gear oils, seals, tires and bearings
  • Rebuild components (only on parts readily available)
  • Replace components (when parts not readily available)

Tire and Wheel Assemblies Evaluation

The following items will be replaced under this program:

  • Tire, bearings, seals, grease fittings, and bushings

Mechanical Parts Evaluation

The following items will be replaced under this program:

  • All wearable items but not limited to busings, bearings, and springs

Chassis Structural Evaluation

The following will be performed under this program:

  • Capacity weight test for structural integrity and weld fatigue
  • Major dents, damages, and gouges will be repaired
  • Missing inspection plates will be replaced
  • Covers will be repaired or replaced upon evaluation to original condition

Paint

The following will be performed under this program:

  • Main chassis painted with industrial enamel Safety Orange or Yellow Finish
  • Bumpers, weldments, and undercarriage finished with industrial enamel Satin Black
  • All finishes will meet a 2-3 mil industrial top coat
  • All surfaces will be lightly sandblasted and sanded, reducing paint build up

Custom paints can be applied or purchased at an additional charge

Decal and Safety Labeling

The following items will be replaced under this program:

  • All serial number & data tags will be replaced with new in accordance with ANSI B56 standard
  • All safety labeling will be identified and marked in accordance with Z535 marking and color labeling
  • Vehicle will receive an updated operator manual that will be securely attached to the vehicle for operator awareness

Special customer stenciling can be applied at an additional cost

Safety Inspection

The following will be performed under this program:

  • Vehicle will be inspected and tested in accordance with ANSI B56/OSHA standards for industrial trucks
  • Vehicle will be load tested and performance tested with maximum load capacity rating Z535 marking and color labeling
  • Vehicle will be evaluated for operator safety and identification for controls
